The implementation of CSER at PLN IP Services is driven by the company’s responsibility in the economic, social, and environmental aspects towards all stakeholders, referring to ISO 26000 as best practice and the latest regulation from the Ministry of SOEs, namely: 

  1. Ministry of SOEs Regulation PER-05/MBU/04/2021 on the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program of State-Owned Enterprises.
  2. Ministry of SOEs Regulation PER-6/MBU/09/2022 on the Amendment of Ministry of SOEs Regulation Number PER-05/MBU/04/2021 on the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program of State-Owned Enterprises.

PLN IP Services is highly committed to optimizing positive impacts and mutual benefits for all stakeholders, including the community. Based on stakeholder analysis, the community is one of the key stakeholders that need special attention. Empowered and well-connected communities with the company will significantly support the company’s activities in the long run and become actors that support sustainable development. Therefore, improving the welfare of the community, especially those around the operational areas, will always be one of PLN  IP Services’s focus areas in the social dimension

Implementation of the CSR programme focuses on the neighboring communities within the Company’s concession territory. the Company guarantees that the Company’s presence will have a positive impact on the community. the Company engages local community leaders to identify problems in the community, so that the CSR programme selected is on target and may act as a solution to the community’s concerns.

Local communities living in the areas around the Company’s operations contribute to the growth and smooth operation of the Company’s business activities. As a result, the Company fosters community contact and conducts various work initiatives aimed at enhancing the community’s quality of life. Numerous activities have been implemented in this regard, including creative economic development, skills training, employment, and other community empowerment initiatives.
