Bengkayang, September 7, 2026 — PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) is involved in the development of the coastal border area around the Kalbar-1 PLTU, Karimunting Village, Sungai Raya Kepulauan District, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan (03/09). Together with PLN Indonesia Power and PT GCL Indo Tenaga, the activity was carried out through development of the area and planting of coastal vegetation along approximately 800 meters with an area of ​​approximately 8.6 hectares to maintain the function of the coastal area as a natural protection zone.

Providing Reliable Energy for Customers, PLN IP Services Operates an Additional 5 MW in Selayar

Selayar, September 3, 2026 — Customers' need for a reliable electricity supply in the Selayar Islands has received additional support with the presence of a 5 MW generating capacity that will begin commercial operations (Commercial Operation Date/COD) on September 2, 2026. The additional power comes from six rental engine units provided by PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) through a collaboration with PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP) Tello Generation Business Unit (UBP) and Selayar Implementation Unit (UP), so that the total generating capacity in the Selayar electricity system now reaches 16 MW.

Manggarai, September 2, 2026 – PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) continues its role in maintaining reliable energy supply in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) through post-earthquake power plant recovery efforts. On August 26, PLN IP Services, through representatives of Ulumbu Geothermal Power Plant employees, was present at the affected location to distribute humanitarian aid to those in need.
