From Commitment to Achievement

PLN IP Services Receives National Recognition for 2025 Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) Performance

 

Jakarta, April 30, 2026 – In commemoration of International Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) Day, PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) received the 2025 HIV-AIDS Prevention and Response Program Award from the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia and the 2025 Company Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management (PROPER) Award from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, as a token of appreciation for the company's consistency in implementing sustainable occupational health and environmental management programs across PLN IP Services' various operational units.

 

PLN IP Services successfully received the 2025 HIV-AIDS Prevention and Response Program Award, with the following details:

 

  • Kalbar-1 Steam Power Plant Unit – Gold Category
  • Timika MPP Gas Power Plant Unit – Gold Category
  • Nusa Penida Diesel Power Plant Unit – Platinum Category

This award reflects PLN IP Services' success in implementing a comprehensive occupational health program, ranging from prevention efforts and ongoing education to creating an inclusive and stigma-free work environment. This approach is a crucial part of building a healthy, productive, and sustainable work culture.

 

In line with the OHS spirit, which focuses not only on human safety but also on environmental sustainability, PLN IP Services also received the 2025 PROPER Award for Corporate Performance Rating in Environmental Management. This award serves as an indicator of the company's performance in ensuring operations comply with regulations and consistently prioritize environmental protection.

 

The units that successfully received the Blue PROPER in 2025 are:

  • Nusa Penida Diesel Power Plant Unit
  •  Ambon Peaker Gas-Power Plant Unit
  • Jayapura 50 MW Gas-Power Plant Unit

This achievement demonstrates that environmental management efforts have been systematically and measurably implemented across all PLN IP Services operational lines, in line with its commitment to supporting responsible business practices.

 

The President Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, stated that the momentum of International Occupational Safety and Health Day serves as an important reflection for the company in strengthening its commitment to occupational safety and sustainability.

 

"The spirit of International Occupational Safety and Health Day serves as a reminder that occupational safety and environmental awareness are the main foundations of every power plant operational activity. This award is proof that we continue to consistently implement this commitment across all work units," said Hari.

Improve HR Capacity to Support SMK3 and Environmental Management PLN IP Services Holds K3L Workshop

In order to welcome the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month in 2025, PLN IP Services held a K3L Workshop with the theme "Strengthening Human Resource Capacity in Supporting the K3 Management System (SMK3) and Environmental Management".   This activity was opened by the K3J Manager of PLN IP Services, Sholihah Fahtunisa, who emphasized the importance of safety as a top priority. "Occupational safety and health are the main foundations in all our activities, especially in high-risk power plant environments. I hope that through this workshop, we can all understand the importance of K3L culture and make it an inseparable part of every step of the work. With collaboration and commitment, we can create a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment," he said.
