PLN IP Services President Director, Hari Cahyono, spoke at the HSSE Contractor Forum at PT Pertamina EP Cepu Zone 12, delivering the topic "Strengthening HSE Culture Through Digitalization and 7 Rules for Sustaining Business Continuity." PLN IP Services shared its experiences and best practices in building a strong and sustainable safety culture in the workplace.
In his presentation, Hari Cahyono explained how PLN IP Services continues to expand its role as an integrated energy solutions provider, managing more than 60 generating units through Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services, as well as MRO, EPC, Energy Supply, and a non-captive business portfolio within the PLN Group and with industry partners both domestically and internationally. He also highlighted the company's success in improving customer reliability through the Power Quality Solution (DRUPS) implemented at PT Pertamina EP Klamono, demonstrating PLN IP Services' commitment to maintaining the continuity of oil and gas sector operations.
At the forum, PLN IP Services also outlined the company's commitment to safety and environmental standards through the implementation of SMK3, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015. The company also implements supporting policies such as HIV/AIDS prevention, drug abuse prevention, and smoke-free areas to create a healthy and safe work environment.
In operations, a safety culture is built through HSE performance management, which includes leading and lagging indicators, the implementation of the 7 HSE Rules, SMK3 Life Saving Rules, and various prevention programs such as safety meetings, toolbox meetings, BBS Cards, and Medical Check-Ups. These efforts are strengthened through HSE digital transformation, ranging from reporting hazards and unsafe conditions, digitizing Behavior Based Safety Cards, to safety campaigns conducted through internal platforms and company social media.
Hari Cahyono emphasized that occupational safety is the responsibility of the entire workforce and management. With collaboration and shared commitment, a strong HSE culture can become the foundation of operational success and support business sustainability.
