PLN Indonesia Power Services Expands Global Footprint through Strategic Collaboration with EVNNPS Vietnam

Jakarta, April 9, 2026 – Expanding its global footprint, PT PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) continues to expand its overseas business success by strengthening its strategic partnership with North Power Service Joint Stock Company (EVNNPS) Vietnam. This extended collaboration demonstrates international confidence in PLN IP Services' capabilities in providing global-standard operations, maintenance, and energy solutions, while strengthening PLN IP Services' role in supporting the energy transition globally.

This official meeting between the two companies provides an important momentum to continue the collaboration that has existed since 2023 and opens up opportunities for broader business development in the international electricity sector.

The President Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, stated that this collaboration reflects global confidence in PLN IP Services' competence.

PLN IP Services' success in overseas business is supported by its experience in handling various international projects and its ability to provide services based on global best practices, particularly in the areas of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO), power plant asset management, and energy development.

The collaboration with EVNNPS includes strengthening knowledge transfer, enhancing human resource capabilities, and developing superior services in power plant management in Vietnam. The main agenda of the meeting included the signing of an extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), discussing joint project opportunities, and strengthening strategies to address global challenges, including geopolitical dynamics and the acceleration of the national energy transition.

EVNNPS Vietnam Women's Chair, Nguyen Thi Hue, expressed optimism about the continuation of this collaboration.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Imaduddin, VP of Generation Derivative Business Development at PLN Indonesia Power, emphasized the importance of regional collaboration in addressing industry dynamics.

"The presence of EVNNPS in Indonesia is an important momentum to further strengthen strategic collaboration, particularly in the development of the power generation services business. Amidst global dynamics, regional independence and collaboration are key. The synergy between PLN Indonesia Power, through PLN IP Services, and partners in the region is believed to be a strength in addressing future industry challenges. This collaboration is expected to continue to grow, mutually strengthening capabilities, and making a tangible contribution to regional energy security."

Looking ahead, both parties are preparing projects in the industrial gas and power generation sectors with a total capacity of up to 600 MW by 2026, which will involve PLN IP Services as the main partner in technical and operational aspects.

On this occasion, PLN IP Services also showcased various superior competencies, ranging from its Excellent O&M program, international technical certification, to simulator and workshop facilities that support increased power plant operational reliability.

This momentum also opens up opportunities for the development of new and renewable energy projects, including Hydrogen Power Plants, and expands collaboration into the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) sector.

This strategic collaboration is expected to strengthen PLN IP Services' position in the global market, while making a tangible contribution to regional energy security and a sustainable energy transition.
