PLN IP Services Manages O&M of Jayapura and Merauke PLTMG, Supports Electricity Reliability in Papua and West Papua

PT PLN Indonesia Power through its subsidiary, PLN IP Services, has once again been entrusted to manage the operation and maintenance (O&M) of two gas engine power plants (PLTMG) in Jayapura and Merauke. This trust confirms PLN IP Services' commitment to supporting the reliability of the electricity system in the Papua and West Papua regions.

The handover process for the O&M management of the Jayapura Peaker 40 MW PLTMG has been carried out from PT Bagus Karya - AECOM - COGINDO to PT PLN (Persero) Papua and West Papua Regional Main Unit as the asset owner. Furthermore, PT PLN (Persero) handed over the O&M management to PLN Indonesia Power, which then entrusted the responsibility as the OM Management Operator asset to PLN IP Services.

Meanwhile, the O&M management of the Merauke I 20 MW PLTMG has also been officially handed over from the PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk Consortium. - PT Wijaya Karya Rekayasa Konstruksi to PT PLN (Persero) Papua and West Papua Regional Main Unit. After that, this asset was handed over to PLN Indonesia Power for O&M Management, which again entrusted PLN IP Services to carry out the operation and maintenance of the power plant as an Operator asset.

President Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, said that this trust is proof of PLN IP Services' competence and superior track record in managing power plants in various regions of Indonesia.
