Jakarta, November 10, 2025 – PLN Indonesia Power Services held a ceremony commemorating Heroes' Day 2025 with the theme "My Heroes, My Role Models, Keep Moving, Continuing the Struggle."

The ceremony was held at the PLN Indonesia Power Services Head Office and attended simultaneously by all work units across various regions. The President Director of PLN Indonesia Power Services served as the ceremony instructor, who read the message from the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

In the message, the Minister of Social Affairs urged all Indonesians to emulate the noble values ​​of the heroes who sacrificed their lives and bodies for the nation's independence.

"Heroes are not merely names engraved on tombstones, but rather lights that illuminate our path to this day. They fought not for themselves, but for the future of a nation they did not yet know," reads an excerpt from the message read during the ceremony.

The message emphasized three key examples of heroes:

1. Patience in struggle, which gives birth to true strength and victory.

2. The spirit of prioritizing the interests of the nation above all else, by continuing to serve selflessly.

3. Foresight, fighting for future generations and the prosperity of the Indonesian nation.

Today, we commemorate the fighting spirit and sacrifice of the heroes who lit the flame of independence for the nation. Their courage and sincerity serve as examples for us to continue working and giving meaning to Indonesia.

This spirit is also embodied by the people of PLN Indonesia Power Services in maintaining electricity reliability and supporting the transition to clean and sustainable energy. The President Director of PLN Indonesia Power Services, in his address, also emphasized the importance of emulating the spirit of the heroes in the current context by working intelligently, with integrity, and providing the greatest benefit to the nation.

"Today's struggle is no longer fought with sharpened bamboo spears, but with knowledge, empathy, and dedication. Through the spirit of My Heroes, My Role Models, we continue the struggle with work and dedication to bring light to the nation," he said.

The ceremony was solemn and meaningful, concluding with a prayer for the nation's fallen heroes and for all PLN Indonesia Power Services personnel, hoping to be blessed with the fighting spirit, sincerity, and dedication in serving the nation.
