In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence, PLN Indonesia Power Services reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of national education through the IP Pintar 2025 program. This program is a collaboration between PLN Indonesia Power and PLN IP Services, which consistently facilitates competency development for vocational high school students from various regions in Indonesia.
IP Pintar, an Internship, Assessment, and Certification program, is a concrete manifestation of PLN IP Services' contribution to preparing young people for the workforce, particularly in the electricity sector.
This year, 150 students from 34 vocational high schools across 22 PLN Indonesia Power work units successfully participated in and completed this program.
During the six-month training period, the students received comprehensive training, starting with basic electrical knowledge, which is a crucial foundation for understanding power generation systems. They also participated in Occupational Safety and Health (K3) training to instill a safe and professional work culture from an early age.
The training continues with basic theory on power plant operation and maintenance, which is then directly applied through On-Job Training (OJT) activities in the field, accompanied by experienced mentors from PLN IP Services. The entire process concludes with a competency test and official certification conducted by the Competency Certification Institute (LSK) PT TEU, to ensure that IP Pintar graduates possess professionally recognized competency standards.
The President Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, emphasized that IP Pintar represents a concrete manifestation of the company's contribution to building the future of national electricity through strengthening human resources from an early age.
"At the moment of Independence Day celebrations, the spirit of nation-building continues to be present through concrete actions. IP Pintar is proof of PLN IP Services' commitment to preparing a competent and work-ready young generation for the future of Indonesia's electricity sector."
The successful implementation of IP Pintar this year marks PLN IP Services' continued commitment to producing a superior young generation ready to compete in the workforce, particularly in the ever-growing electricity sector.
