PLN IP Services has won an award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) for its success in implementing the Fuel-Based Motorcycle Conversion Workshop to Battery-Based Electric Motorcycle program. This award is an acknowledgment of PLN IP Services' real contribution through Cogen EV 2.5 in supporting the acceleration of the transition to clean and low-emission energy in Indonesia.

Through this program, PLN IP Services demonstrates the innovation of converting conventional fueled motorcycles to battery-based electric motorcycles, as part of the company's commitment to accelerate the use of renewable energy in the transportation sector. This program is in line with the Indonesian government's vision to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and accelerate the reduction of carbon emissions throughout the country.

This conversion workshop program, commonly known as Cogen EV 2.5, is expected to be a practical and affordable solution for the public in switching from fossil-fueled vehicles to battery-based electric motorcycles. In addition, PLN IP Services also educates the public about the benefits of using electric vehicles, both in terms of energy efficiency and reducing negative impacts on the environment.
