PLN IP Services Successfully Relocates and Operates the 20 MW Tanjung Selor Gas-Powered Power Plant, Strengthening North Kalimantan's Electricity Reliability

Tanjung Selor, December 17, 2025 – PLN Indonesia Power together with PLN Indonesia Power Services present the Tanjung Selor Gas-Fired Power Plant (PLTG) with a capacity of 1 x 20 MegaWatt (MW) as a strategic step to strengthen the reliability of the electricity system in the North Kalimantan region. The presence of the Tanjung Selor PLTG is a real solution to meet the increasing need for electricity supply, while strengthening the electricity system in the capital of North Kalimantan Province which is located at the end of the system. This plant is expected to be able to support community activities, government, and encourage sustainable regional economic growth.
