PRESS RELEASE NO. 007/RELEASE/PLNIPSERVICES/2026   PLN IP Services Takes Concrete Action for a Safe Indonesia at HPSN 2026   To strengthen its commitment to environmental sustainability through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, PLN IP Services, through its Nusa Penida Work Unit, is actively supporting the Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful Indonesia (ASRI) National Movement, initiated by the Ministry of Environment/Environmental Control Agency. This participation is realized through direct involvement in a series of commemorations of National Waste Awareness Day (HPSN) 2026.

PLN IP Services Successfully Relocates and Operates the 20 MW Tanjung Selor Gas-Powered Power Plant, Strengthening North Kalimantan's Electricity Reliability

Tanjung Selor, December 17, 2025 – PLN Indonesia Power together with PLN Indonesia Power Services present the Tanjung Selor Gas-Fired Power Plant (PLTG) with a capacity of 1 x 20 MegaWatt (MW) as a strategic step to strengthen the reliability of the electricity system in the North Kalimantan region. The presence of the Tanjung Selor PLTG is a real solution to meet the increasing need for electricity supply, while strengthening the electricity system in the capital of North Kalimantan Province which is located at the end of the system. This plant is expected to be able to support community activities, government, and encourage sustainable regional economic growth.

PLN IP Services Monitors North Sumatra's Electricity Reliability and is Present to Strengthen Power Plant Workers and Residents Affected by Disasters

The flooding that hit North Sumatra impacted residential areas and the environment around the power plant. This situation required swift action to maintain the reliability of the electricity system that supplies the region's energy needs.   In response, PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) moved swiftly to ensure the plant's safe operation while providing humanitarian support to the affected community and employees.
