In an effort to accelerate digital transformation while strengthening data and information security, PLN Indonesia Power Services held a "Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement" event with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BSSN) through the Electronic Certification Center (BSrE).
This collaboration focuses on the implementation of digital signatures and electronic certificates, which will be adopted by PLN IP Services to support the efficiency, security, and reliability of the company's operations, including the Mail Management Application (AMS).
Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, expressed his appreciation for the support provided by BSSN and BSrE. He emphasized that the implementation of this technology is part of the company's broader digital transformation efforts. "We are grateful for the support from BSSN and BSrE in this strategic collaboration. The implementation of digital signatures in the Letter Management Application (AMS) will increase the efficiency of our business processes. With this technology, documents can be signed quickly and legally, while making it easier to search and track documents," said Hari Cahyono. He added that the implementation of digital signatures is also a concrete step to reduce the use of physical documents, thereby encouraging higher operational efficiency in various aspects of the company. "This collaboration also ensures that every document we produce has authenticity and legal validity which is vital for the sustainability of the company's operations," he added.
The Main Secretary of BSSN, Mr. YB. Susilo Wibowo, S.E., M.M., also conveyed the importance of this collaboration in supporting digital security, especially in the energy and electricity sectors. "Digital transformation is now a primary need in various sectors, including energy, because it provides significant benefits in increasing efficiency and productivity. Electronic certificates are present as an effective solution to maintain data integrity while ensuring more reliable user authentication." explained Susilo.
