In an effort to strengthen the reliability of electricity supply in the West Nusa Tenggara region, PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) and PT PLN (Persero) West Nusa Tenggara Regional Main Unit (UIW NTB) officially signed a Lease Agreement for a 3 MW HSD/Biodiesel-fueled Power Plant at the Lunyuk Diesel Power Plant in Sumbawa Regency.
The signing of this collaboration represents a concrete step in supporting the availability of reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy for communities in the isolated system area. This project is also expected to strengthen the NTB electricity system while boosting regional economic growth.
The President Director of PLN Indonesia Power Services, Hari Cahyono, expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in them to carry out this strategic project.
"We express our gratitude for the trust placed in PLN Indonesia Power Services to procure and lease a 3 MW biodiesel-fueled generator at the Lunyuk Diesel Power Plant (PLTD). We will carry out this mandate to the best of our ability as a manifestation of our commitment to supporting the reliability of the electricity system in West Nusa Tenggara. We believe this collaboration is a concrete step towards providing reliable energy and providing tangible benefits to the community. PLN IP Services is ready to work together to further enhance NTB's electricity performance," said Hari.
Meanwhile, Sri Heni Purwanti, General Manager of PT PLN (Persero) UIW NTB, emphasized that this project is part of PLN's strategy to ensure energy availability in areas with isolated electricity systems.
"The presence of a 3 MW biodiesel-fueled power plant in Lunyuk is a strategic step for PLN in ensuring reliable and sustainable energy availability in the isolated area. This project not only addresses the community's electricity needs but also drives economic growth and improved welfare in the NTB region.

The Head of the West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office, Wahyudi, S.H., M.H., also expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between PLN and PLN Indonesia Power Services.
